Institute’s Additional Holidays for Students

Chinese New Year
There will be no lectures from Monday, 4th February ’08 to Wednesday, 6th February ’08. Students are requested to view their course schedule for actual holiday/semester break dates during the Chinese New Year Holidays.
Hari Raya Puasa
There will be no lectures from Monday 29th September ’08 to Friday, 3rd October ’08.
Students are requested to view their course schedule for actual holiday/semester break dates during the Chinese New Year Holidays.
(The Institute will be closed on Friday 3rd October ’08).
Deepavali
There will be no lectures on Tuesday 28th October ’08).
Year End Break
There will be no lectures from Monday, 22nd December ’08 to Friday, 2nd January ’09.

Note :

When a public holiday falls on a Sunday, the following day becomes a public holiday.
The administrative and student services functions will be operational during the additional holidays for students except for the Sunday, public holiday an d certain approved days as indicated.
During the period of additional holidays the operational hours for the library, computer labs and administration service counters will be as follows: Monday to Friday : 9.00am to 5.00pm
