Scholarships
Offered by APIIT in conjunction with a number of external parties, the scholarship applications are open to all Malaysian students who fulfil the conditions and requirements specified by respective awarding bodies.
The STAR Education Fund
TThe STAR Education Fund acts as an umbrella body for individuals, corporations and educational institutions interested in contributing towards the education of exceptional and needy students. APIIT is one of the organisations that contribute significantly to the STAR Education Fund. Invitation for applications for the scholarships are advertised in The Star newspaper between February to April.

Eligibility criteria
Applicants must be below 25 years of age, possess good academic results, be active in co-curricular activities, and be financially needy, and must not be in receipt of any other financial aid.
Loan coverage
The scholarship covers up to 100% of course fees only.

MAPCU Education Fund
The NST-MAPCU Scholarship Programme is a joint project of New Straits Times (NST) and the Malaysian Association of Private Colleges and Universities (MAPCU). It is aimed at financially deserving students with a satisfactory academic record, providing them with the opportunity to access quality private education.

KUOK Foundation Berhad
KUOK Foundation only awards to undergraduate or prospective undergraduate students attending '3+0' foreign degree programmes.

Only Malaysian students intending to pursue a full-time degree program are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Applicants must possess good academic results, be active in co-curricular activities, and be financially needy, and must not be in receipt of any other financial aid.

The scholarship covers up to 100% of course fees.

Advertisements for application will be posted and announced in local newspapers and in APIIT. Applicants can obtain the application form from the Student Services at APIIT.

Sin Chew Daily Education Fund
Organised by Sin Chew Daily, the education fund it set up provides financial assistance to deserving and needy students in Malaysia. This fund is open to all Malaysians.

British American Tobacco Foundation
The foundation had its beginnings in 1983 when the former MTC Foundation was established to formalise the company's active involvement in providing financial assistance to talented Malaysian students pursuing higher education. The foundation offers scholarships to both external applicants and the children of the company's employees.

Eligibility criteria
This scholarship only applies to Malaysian students who are registered for a full-time course at any local or private college / university.
Loan coverage
The scholarship covers RM7,000 per year for a Degree course and RM3,500 per year for a Diploma course.

Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA) Scholarships
Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA) offers scholarships to Malaysian students studying locally or overseas.

Eligibility criteria
Applicants must be financially needy students who possess good academic results and who wish to pursue further studies overseas through private universities or locally at public universities.
Loan coverage
The scholarship covers up to RM200,000 of tuition fees.
