Entry Requirements
Admission to Foundation Level of Diploma
-
An overall credit pass in 3 subjects at SPM level
-
3 grade B passes at 'O' Levels / GCSE
A qualification that APIIT accepts as equivalent to the above
A pass in Bahasa Malaysia at SPM level (Malaysian students only)
Advanced Entry to Foundation Level of Diploma
-
2 pass at STPM level, and 5 credit passes at SPM
-
2 pass at 'A' Levels, and 4 grade B passes at 'O' Levels / GCSE
A qualification that APIIT accepts as equivalent to the above
A pass in Bahasa Malaysia at SPM level (Malaysian students only)
Direct Entry to Level 1 of Diploma
Candidates must demonstrate that they meet Level 1 pre-requisites, and have at least one of the following:
Completed, or been exempted from the Foundation Level
2 passes at STPM level and 4 credit passes at SPM
2 passes at 'A' Levels, and 4 grade B passes at 'O' Levels / GCSE
A qualification that APIIT accepts as equivalent to the above

Diploma in Information & Communications Technology
This programme prepares you for careers in the ICT environments with emphasis on solutions design, software development and technology infrastructure support.
At this juncture, you may not be clear about exactly what programme you would like to study in the areas of ICT so the programme has been designed to allow you to change or adapt your choice as you progress through your studies and as your knowledge and maturity on the subject grows.
The Programme
This programme provides broad coverage of software development, information and communication and networks, business and employability skills. Students doing this programme are able to progress to computing, hybrid or applied IT degree qualifications.
Career Prospects
Upon completion of this programme, you will be eligible for the degree programme allowing you to take full advantage of the core skills you will have acquired on the Diploma programme.
You will be able to develop solutions requiring the application of technology in a business and organisational context so as to facilitate a response to continued future changes in technology and industry practices.

The Programme
This award focuses on the knowledge and skills required for the development of software following rigorous quality controls and product management principles, whilst providing a solid foundation in the fundamentals of computer systems. Current good practices for software development and maintenance is covered with emphasis on the problems associated with large software systems.

Diploma in Business with Information Technology
This programme suits people who would like to work in business but who also have an interest in Information Technology.
The Programme
This award addresses the need for people and technology to work in harmony and exposes students to factors such as business and management practices and economic factors of system design.
This programme arms you with the knowledge and skills to combine aspects of management and business with aspects of information technology. A significant proportion of the programme places emphasis on aspects that are core to businesses such as Business Communications, Marketing, Accounting, Human Resources Management and Legal Framework of Business.
